Fire Station 1 - 1622 Camp Road 

ENGINE 1  24/7

A 2001 Spartan/Quality 1,500 gpm, 750 gallon tank equipped with a foam tank, a hydraulic generator, TNT rescue tools, AED, and other fire suppression/rescue equipment.

 

 

SQUAD 1  24/7

A 2000 Spartan/Hackney Heavy Rescue Squad equipped with a hydraulic generator, TNT rescue tools, high and low angle rope equipment, confined space equiment, and AED.  This apparatus is DHEC certified as a first responder vehicle.

 

 

UNIT 3 COMMAND UNIT  24/7

A 2002 Ford Explorer equipped with a Thermal Imaging Camera, AED and command post equipment.

 

 

ENGINE 5

A reserve apparatus.  A 1995 Spartan/Quality 1, 500 gpm, 750 gallon tank.

ENGINE 6

A reserve apparatus.  A 1987 Spartan/FMC 1,500 gpm, 750 gallon tank.

A 2004 Scotty's Trailer simulating all aspects of fire prevention including weather awareness.

Fire Station 2 - 853 Harborview Road

ENGINE 2  24/7

A 2007 American LaFrance 2,000 gpm, 1,000 gallon tank pumper, 3000 watt light tower, 9000 watt hydraulic generator, TNT hydraulic rescue tools, AED, and other fire suppression/rescue equipment.  This unit is staffed with three personnel.

 

 

Fire Station 3 - 78 Plymouth Ave

ENGINE 3  24/7

A 2004 Spartan/Crimson 2,000 gpm, 1000 gallon tank equipped with a hydraulic generator, TNT rescue tools, AED and other fire suppression/rescue equipment.  This apparatus is DHEC certified as a first responder vehicle.  This unit is staffed with three personnel.

TRUCK 1 

A 1971 Mack/Aerialscope 100' ladder truck equipped with a diesel generator, ground ladders, and other fire rescue equipment.

 

Fire Station 4 - 1859 Folly Road

 

ENGINE 4  24/7

A 2000 Spartan/Quality 1250 gpm, 1,000 gallon tank equipped with a hydraulic generator, TNT rescue tools, AED, and other fire suppression/rescue equipment. 

 

 

 

S.E.R.V. 1 

A 2005 Ford F350 Dually with a walk-in rescue body equipped with a bumper mounted 9,000 lb winch and other fire suppression/rescue equipment. 

 

 

 

Brush 1

A 1978 Chevy diesel PickUp equipped with a slide in skid pump unit.  This vehicle belongs to the SC Forestry Commission, but is housed at Station 4.

 

 

Tanker 1

A 1975 International with a 1,200 gallon slow drain tank with a 250 gpm pump. This vehicle also belongs to the SC Forestry Commission.  An additional firefighter is stationed at Fire Station 4, when operating with a fully staffed shift, to respond with this apparatus when needed.

 

Water Buffalos and HAZMAT Trailer

Two (2) potable water buffalos and the Charleston County HAZMAT Trailer are also stored at this station.
